Email migration - webmail not picking up

    Just checked on webmail. Using the old 
    https://web.mail.demon.net/ site, we have not received any email sent after migration. Tried using the https://webmail.demon.co.uk/ site, but get an outlook interface that isn't familiar, and it's not obvious what to enter, eg what email address. The data required doesn't correlate to the old webmail setup. I've tried various options, but nothing works.


    Help would be much appreciated.

  2. To login to the new webmail server you'll need to use the https://webmail.demon.co.uk address.


    Login using your email address -  administrator@yourhostname.demon.co.uk (catchall) and your account password you received in your migration email.

    The new mail platform requires you to login with your email address rather than just your hostname.

    Thanks Rob. I can get on now. All the messages that bounced earlier from our mail system seem to have appeared here - I'll leave you to reply to that query separately.

    I see that the interface doesn't remember the email address, as the old system did, which is a pain as it's a long job to type 'administrator@....' Any chance of changing this?

    Hi Sorcha,

    If you select "private computer" as an option on the front screen then it will remember your email address.
